LA CARRETA FOOD TRUCK
A Carreta (cart or oxcart) is used through most countries in Latin-America to transport fruit and vegetables by farmers to markets, and in some instances as a display point of sale in some cities. Carreta's are widely known by the freshness of their products.
La Carreta is a Latin American inspired food truck. Our aim is to take on original recipes from Colombia and Latin America, and give them a twist making them appealing and suitable for Australian’s palette, but always keeping the sense of Latin-American flavours.
Our menu is based on some of the most loved and traditional latin american dishes, some of them are known worldwide, and others you will even struggle trying to pronounce.
We use fresh vegetables, meats and bread. Our salsas, sauces and pastries are home made. We work with local produce and seasonal products, as well as some unique imported products.
